Hello!  I began working in the financial services industry in 2000 and have experience in Canada and in the UK.  I worked as an Associate Financial Advisor with CIBC Wood Gundy and as an advisor with Canada Life in the pension plan department.  In 2011, I joined the Matchett Financial team as an Associate Financial Advisor.  I have multiple designations including the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional designation, which I obtained in 2003.  I took over ownership of Matchett Financial Services in 2021, and I plan to keep everything the same so our clients may continue to enjoy the exceptional level of service they have come to know and value.

I enjoy spending time with my husband Dennis, my daughter Riley and my son Wyatt.  I love to travel, play golf, play tennis and ski.

Hello!  I began my financial career in 1972 working at the Royal Bank of Canada.  I have my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional designation and have proudly lived in the Ripley/Kincardine area all of my life.  Since 1987, thanks to the wisdom and experience of our team, as well as our shared passion for understanding clients’ needs and building their financial success, Matchett Financial Services has grown to be one of the largest independent investment firms across Canada.

My husband Rob and I raised two wonderful children in Kincardine and we continue to enjoy the area with all it has to offer ― especially the amazing sunsets over Lake Huron.  I also enjoy spending time in my gardens, travelling, golfing, biking, and curling.

I began working in the financial services industry in 2004 as an administrator for Matchett Financial Services.  In an effort to gain a broader range of experience, I decided to move into the banking system in 2007, which provided me with a strong financial background in both investing and credit.  In 2018, I rejoined the Matchett team where I received tremendous support and encouragement in completing the Professional Financial Advisor (PFA™) designation, which I obtained in September of 2020.

As a client of Matchett Financial Services, I understand how important it is for you to reach your financial goals.  I have a strong desire to help you navigate your way through some of life’s most important decisions.

I attended the University of Western Ontario before entering into the financial services industry, and prior to joining the Matchett Financial team in 2016, I worked in London Ontario at a HollisWealth office for four years.

My husband Dustin and I love to call Kincardine home and get out golfing as often as we can.  In 2018, we welcomed our first daughter and then in 2021, we welcomed our second daughter.  We are very much looking forward to this next chapter in our lives.

Administrative Assistant

I joined the Matchett Financial team in 2016 as a Receptionist.  I am now an Administrative Assistant to Lisa Laschuk and Stephanie Catto.  I look forward to continuing my education and growing within this great company.

I was born and raised in Kincardine, and love to call this quiet little beach town home.  In my spare time, you can find me on the golf course, running, and enjoying our beautiful beaches.

I started my career in the financial services industry in 1996 as a Licensed Life Insurance Agent.  From there, I progressed through different roles in my varied career including leading teams for insurance and manufacturing call centers.  I joined the Matchett team in 2019 and look forward to helping the company to continue to grow.  I hold Life Insurance and Mutual Fund licenses to better assist in the office.

I live in the Kincardine area with my partner, Andrea, and my two young kids.  My eldest daughter lives in the city.  In my free time I play in multiple bands, ride my motorcycle and participate in local community theatres.

I started out in the financial services industry as a co-op student during high school and for the majority of my career, I have continued to do so.  That seems like ages ago!  In 2008 I joined the Matchett team where I do the bulk of processing trades for our office in my role as a Licensed Assistant.   

Bruce County has always been home to us.  Our country home near Ripley was a great place to raise our family.  In my free time I volunteer, garden and thoroughly enjoy a great read!

In 2010, I began my career in the accounting industry.  I graduated from Conestoga College with honours and continue to further my education with ongoing courses and seminars.  I moved to beautiful Kincardine in 2019 to work as the tax specialist and assist Sarah Proudlove.

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family and spending time in the great outdoors.

Receptionist

I started with Matchett Financial in 2022 and I am very excited to be here!  I am quickly getting to know the office processes and I will likely be the friendly voice to greet you when you call.

I've lived in Kincardine and area for over 20 years, though I'm originally from Thunder Bay.  Last year I tied the knot in a super-exclusive event with my partner Evan, though when the time is right, we still want a destination wedding so we can include all of our family and friends.  We have two dogs together, Cooper and Stella, and they keep us pretty busy.  In our spare time, we are often found playing DnD and other games, frequently hosting our friends and family.

Marketing Coordinator

I am blessed to be part of the Matchett Financial team.  As soon as I was old enough to work, I was given simple tasks like filing and paper shredding.  Today, I work part-time as the Marketing Coordinator.  On occasion, I also cover the reception desk.

I live in the Kincardine area with my partner, Terry, and his two kids.  Outside of work, I work on a couple of different music projects and enjoy time with family and friends.
